Catalytic-Level Identification of Prepared Pt/HY, Pt-Zn/HY, and Pt-Rh/HY Nanocatalysts on the Reforming Reactions of N-Heptane

The operation of reforming catalysts in a fixed bed reactor undergoes high level interaction between the operating parameters and reaction mechanism. Understanding such an reduces catalyst deactivation rate. In present work, three kinds nanocatalysts (i.e., Pt/HY, Pt-Zn/HY, Pt-Rh/HY) were synthesized. catalysts’ performances evaluated for n-heptane reactions reactor. conditions applied following: 1 bar pressure, WHSV 4, hydrogen/n-heptane ratio temperatures 425, 450, 475, 500, 525 °C. optimal temperature all types to produce high-quality isomers aromatic hydrocarbons was 500 Accordingly, nanocatalyst Pt-Zn/HY provided highest catalytic selectivity desired hydrocarbons. Moreover, Pt-Zn/HY-nanocatalyst showed more resistance against comparison with other two (Pt/HY Pt-Rh/HY). This work offers understanding application process petroleum refineries performance economic feasibility.
